let the games begin!

Hi,

I’m Justine Alley Dowsett, an independent author and the Business and Marketing Director for First Age Studios.

At First Age Studios we make video games. We can make web-based games, flash games, or even xbox games and we also do website design and graphic design among other things. But what’s most exciting about us is that we have games that you can play right now, for free and we’re adding content to those games all the time.

For example, our first game Crimson Winter is a text-based mission style game for Facebook based on a series of novels that I’m working on completing. The game follows the story of the books on a world where five gods are at war with one another. In the game you choose your side and then compete against the other teams for awesome prizes and a spot on the leader board.

We’ve recently announced the game’s upcoming event called ‘Seven Days in Jade’ and we’re really excited about all the new content that will be introduced to the game for the first week of September, getting ready for the game’s expansion which is tentatively set for September 7th.  If you want to try it out, or be there when all the excitement happens, go to Facebook and search Crimson Winter or click on this link: http://apps.facebook.com/Crimson Winter and join the war!

In other news, we’re working on new title which will be launched very soon on Kongregate.com. It’s an arcade shooter style game where you can shoot pigs into bacon, but more on that next time!

Thanks for reading and make sure to check out Crimson Winter on Facebook, or follow us here, on Facebook, twitter or google plus.
